"Continuity
in Seeing"
acrylic
on canvas
31 feet wide
mural

Using a canvas with a width of 30 feet, this piece of
art intends to explore the continuity in “seeing.”
The artist adopts the idea from
traditional Chinese landscape paintings, which
requires the audience to follow the artist’s path as
the scroll is unfolding. Here, rather than unfolding
the painting for the audience, a viewer is expected to
walk through the painting physically to experience the
intricacy of all the brush strokes and abstract forms.
The written verses throughout the painting complement
this abstract painting with a sense of storytelling.
Please move the scroll bar to continue the long painting.
