Urban Cage is a mixed media installation that focus on Fina’s urban memory of growing up in the overcrowded city, Hong Kong. She used corrugated cardboard as canvas, painting and forming an abstract image of the city as an overcrowded urban cage.
Alongside the cardboard installation is an experimental film that Fina expresses her emotional relationship with living in another city, New York. Film was screening in exhibition TYPECAST, juried by Jarvis DuBois, at Hillyer Art Space, Washington, DC
