Today What I See: Somewhere past, somewhere future

At MOMA The Museum of Modern Art I often go back down to their permanent collections to see abstract expressionism.  Both artwork by Barnett Newman and Jackson Pollock are the places for me to reflect the moment I am living in.  As an artist , the moment of making art is so specific and special; as a viewer, the moment of looking at art is also unique and meditative.  These two big canvases create a space for me to contemplate where I came from and where I may go from here.

Jackson Pollock artwork was my inspiration to my first series of paintings with colors on abstract forms.
