  • Ten years is a long time but many things that happened only seems like yesterday. Think about the people I loved, the places I travelled to, the parties I attended with witty conversations, the paintings I did to express my broken heart.  Ten years is a short time but I have no ideas how my stories began. They are the ideas became the colors I paint with and I am going to just leave them as they are on canvases, on photos and in my creativity driveway. • Today I visit the Ancient Central, North and South Asian Art sections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  What interests me in the exhibition are the images of Buddha, four-armed god, human-headed winged bull and winged lion  and many other animal-headed human body.   These faces are not only the image of gods but human alter ego.   These sculptures and their histories lead me to think of  our new images in the new millennium: Ready for a new portrait of yourself? (Photos taken at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Pic #1 is Vishnu as Para Vasudeva-Narayana, 8th century)
